Battery-supported emergency lighting illuminates the quickest and safest route to exit a building during a power failure. Building codes require that stairways, corridors, and egress points be lit in the event of a power failure.
The GNSD Genie MR16 Fully Recessed Emergency Light can be recessed into walls or ceilings and is virtually invisible during normal lighting conditions. This emergency light features a textured white powder-coat die-cast zinc frame and door assembly. No external mounting hardware is visible, allowing paint or wallpaper to blend seamlessly with the surrounding architecture. Four selectable lamp positions for each lamp ensure optimum light distribution and provide 90 minutes of emergency lighting. The GNSD offers advanced microprocessor self-diagnostics, discreet, automatic monthly self-testing, and an optional infra-red remote transmitter with selectable 30-second or 90-minute tests. This unit is suitable for mounting heights up to 50’, depending on the selected lamp wattage, and includes your choice of a Lead-Calcium or Ni-Cad battery.
