Product Details

Emergency lighting systems provide necessary illumination for facility occupants to access safe passage from a structure when standard lighting fails. Battery-supported emergency lighting illuminates the quickest and safest route to exit a building during a power failure. Building codes require that stairways, corridors, and egress points be lit in the event of a power failure.

The MAX-E Wet Location Emergency Light is constructed from heavy-duty 0.420” cast aluminum, featuring two bottom-mounted MR16 style lamps with vandal-resistant polycarbonate lamp housing. This IP66-rated emergency light is suitable for NEMA 4X applications and is designed to withstand abuse and vandalism in schools, institutions, and other public areas. The maintenance-free sealed nickel cadmium batteries provide a minimum of 90 minutes of emergency run-time to allow for safe passage during a power failure. This model is offered with a durable white or black powder-coat finish, and multiple mounting options are available.
