Emergency lighting systems provide necessary illumination for facility occupants to access safe passage from a structure when standard lighting fails. Battery-supported emergency lighting illuminates the quickest and safest route to exit a building during a power failure. Building codes require that stairways, corridors, and egress points be lit in the event of a power failure.
The LMIGN2 LED Compact Fully Recessed Emergency Light is a fully self-contained emergency light able to be recessed into the walls or ceiling. The compact back box features fully adjustable mounting hardware and can be pre-shipped for pre-installation at the job site. The 4.0” compact rotating soft-close door with circular trim can be painted or wallpapered to blend seamlessly with the surrounding architecture. The LMIGN2 supplies 90 minutes of emergency lighting with 3W LEDs and is available with a Lead-Calcium or Ni-Cad battery. Modular assembly and quick connector wiring provide for easy installation, and a line latch prevents the unnecessary discharge of the battery during installation. Optional infrared, hand-held remote control testing is available.
