Product Details

Emergency lighting systems provide necessary illumination for facility occupants to access safe passage from a structure when standard lighting fails. Battery-supported emergency lighting illuminates the quickest and safest route to exit a building during a power failure. Building codes require that stairways, corridors, and egress points be lit in the event of a power failure.

The HL NEMA 4X 18-360 Watt Emergency Light is a fully gasketed fiberglass housing unit with a durable gray powder-coat finish. This unit is specifically designed for use in demanding environments where oil, water, and dust-resistant equipment is required. The HL is suitable for NEMA 4, 4X, 12, and 13 applications and features a premium, fully AC limited “Pulse Switching” charger that provides ideal charge conditions for optimum battery performance and life. A maintenance-free, sealed Lead Calcium or Ni-Cad battery and two fully adjustable, top-mounted, PAR 36 style lighting heads are included. The HL emergency light is UL listed, providing 90 minutes of illumination when primary power is lost. A low voltage cut-off prevents battery damage and ensures positive charge acceptance following an extended discharge. This industrial application emergency lighting unit features an external four-hole mounting system to ensure proper and secure installation with minimal cabinet intrusion. A front access panel is hinged for easy maintenance, and a unique locking twist-collar securely holds the lens for quick and straightforward re-lamping.
