Product Details
Emergency lighting systems provide necessary illumination for facility occupants to access safe passage from a structure when standard lighting fails. Battery-supported emergency lighting illuminates the quickest and safest route to exit a building during a power failure. Building codes require that stairways, corridors, and egress points be lit in the event of a power failure.
The ELP 50-100 Watt Thermoplastic Emergency Light features an injection-molded ABS housing with two top-mounted lighting heads that can be field modified for side-mount applications. Keyhole mounting slots and conduit knockouts are provided for additional mounting possibilities, and nickel-plated steel counter-sunk screws secure a snap-fit door. The ELP is UL924 Damp Location approved and provides a minimum of 90 minutes of emergency run-time. A maintenance-free, sealed lead-calcium battery is included, and captive battery restraints are standard and suit ZONE 4 type applications. A line-latch prevents the unnecessary discharge of the battery during installation, and brownout sensing ensures emergency operation during periods of low line voltage.
