Emergency lighting systems provide necessary illumination for facility occupants to access safe passage from a structure when standard lighting fails. Battery-supported emergency lighting illuminates the quickest and safest route to exit a building during a power failure. Building codes require that stairways, corridors, and egress points be lit in the event of a power failure.
The BUG High Performance LED Emergency Light features an injection-molded ABS thermoplastic housing with a 5VA flame rating and is offered in a 1-watt option or a 2-watt option. The BUG3 emergency light is available with two adjustable lamp heads with (3) 1 Watt LEDs producing 300 lumens/head. The BUG6 emergency light is available with two adjustable lamp heads with (3) 2 Watt LEDs producing 650 lumens/head. BUG3 and BUG6 are CEC Title 20 compliant and include an eco-friendly, long-life, high-performance Lithium Iron Phosphate battery UL Listed for 90 minutes of emergency lighting. A low voltage disconnect prevents battery damage and ensures a positive charge after an extended discharge. Extruded aluminum LED heat sinks provide optimal LED operation and long life, and a line latch prevents the unnecessary discharge of the battery during installation. These fixtures are suitable for damp indoor locations.
