Product Details
Emergency lighting systems provide necessary illumination for facility occupants to access safe passage from a structure when standard lighting fails. Battery-supported emergency lighting illuminates the quickest and safest route to exit a building during a power failure. Building codes require that stairways, corridors, and egress points be lit in the event of a power failure.
The LTP LED Low Level Recessed Emergency Light is more effective in illuminating the path of egress than the traditional ceiling or wall-mounted emergency lights. This fully self-contained emergency light can be recessed into walls and boasts a two-hour emergency run-time. The tamper-resistant design has no visible mounting hardware, which allows the unit to be painted or wallpapered to blend seamlessly with the surrounding architecture. The universal back box can be pre-shipped for pre-installation at the job site. This unit uses three high-output white LEDs with just 11 Watts of total load, providing up to 50.0’ on center spacing over a 4.0’ path of egress. Brownout sensing ensures emergency operation during periods of low line voltage, and a line latch prevents the unnecessary discharge of the battery during installation. A Lead Calcium or Ni-Cad battery is included.
