Remote Lamp Heads
A remote lamp head is an emergency light with a separate lamp head from the battery and control circuitry. The lamp head is mounted remotely, typically on a wall or ceiling, and is connected to the battery and control circuitry by a cable. This configuration allows the lamp head to be located in a more convenient or accessible location while the battery and control circuitry can be positioned in a more protected area.
Remote head lamps are commonly used in commercial and industrial settings, such as warehouses, factories, and office buildings. They are also used in some residential locations, such as basements and garages.
Exit Signs and Remote Lamp Heads
Remote lamp heads are often used in exit signs because they can be located in a more visible location than the battery and control circuitry. This design makes it easier for people to find the exit in the event of an emergency.
Emergency Lights and Remote Lamp Heads
Remote lamp heads are also used in emergency light systems because they can provide additional lighting during a power failure. In the event of a power loss, remote lamp heads will provide 90 minutes of illumination.
Wet Location Remote Lamp Heads
Emergency lighting must be available in all environments, including potentially wet, corrosive, or high-dust locations. Isolite offers weatherproof fixtures with resilient gaskets that enable the unit to withstand moisture and corrosive elements.
