Emergency Lighting

Is the LMIGN light output the same when ordered as AC or EM?

Yes. The light output is the same on both the LMIGN with battery and the LMIGN AC only.

Can the heads on the RLC-LED be pointed backward?

Yes, remove the face plate, remove the heads and flip them over.

Can I change a MIGN to Surface Mount in the field?

Yes, just purchase the MIGN Surface Mount Kit and it can be done in the field.

What is the Kelvin Color Temperature of the ELED?

The color temperature is 5015K.

LED And Hybrid Exit Signs

Can the ELT mounting be reconfigured in the field?

No, it cannot. The customer would need to request an RMA from Isolite and place an order to have the units reworked.

Can the ELT be T bar ceiling mounted?

Yes, our Recessed Ceiling (RC) mounting option is for T bar ceiling mounting.

What color are the pendant kits for pendant mounted signs?

The pendants come in white or black only. Brushed Aluminum (BA) is not an option.  When ordering a brushed aluminum unit with a pendant, the pendant comes standard in white unless otherwise specified.

What is the standard runtime for an ELT, LPDC or TL?

Standard runtime for these units is 4 hours unless running a remote exit in which case the runtime is 2 hours.

Can I change the panel configuration on my ELT in the field?

Yes, the only configurations that cannot be changed in the field are: Clear Panel to Mirrored or White (or vice versa) Red to Green (or vice versa)

I ordered a Dual Circuit (2C) Exit Sign and that isn’t what was sent…

The dual circuit is not clearly visible. Inside the back box, you will see a transformer on one end and in the center there is a metal hump. Underneath the shroud (hump) is where the dual circuit is mounted. You can pull back and press in on the shroud to open and uncover it.

Can I change an LED Exit Sign from Red to Green (or Green to Red) in the field?

No, it cannot. The customer would need to request an RMA from Isolite and place an order to have the units reworked.

Can the DTH be changed from double face to single face (or vice versa) in the field?

No, it cannot. The customer would need to request an RMA from Isolite and place an order to have the units reworked.

Are there knockouts on the side of the LPDC for side wire entry?

Yes, you can wall mount the unit and feed wires through the side.

Can the DCL be pendant mounted?

Yes, the universal canopy can be used for a pendant mount, however, the customer would have to provide their own pendant kit (or they can order them from Isolite). They also have to extend their own leads for the length of the pendant.

Troubleshooting

My LED Exit Sign won’t light up…

If it doesn’t light, double check the transformer connection.

Is there a distance limitation for inverters?

No, there is not, but see the voltage drop table.

Do you take back other Manufacturers expired Tritium Exit Signs?
